College Assembly at Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar

Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, in collaboration with IQAC, successfully hosted a College Assembly on February 3, 2025, at 9:30 AM in the General Hall. This event was organized by the Second Year B.Ed. English students, with presenters Megha KK, Megha PP, Harsha, Shivapriya, and Catherine.  

Event Highlights

The assembly followed a structured agenda, ensuring an engaging and meaningful experience for the attendees. The key events included:  

- Prayer: The session commenced with a solemn and uplifting prayer.  

- Pledge: A moment of unity as students took the pledge.  

- News Reading: A segment dedicated to updating students with current affairs.  

- Thought of the Day: The assembly featured an inspiring quote by C.S. Lewis, reminding everyone that “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”  

- Activity Session – About Helen Keller: A special activity was conducted, shedding light on the life and achievements of Helen Keller, a symbol of perseverance and determination.  

- Principal’s Address: The Principal delivered an insightful speech, motivating the students.  

- National Anthem: The event concluded with a patriotic rendition of the national anthem.  

Conclusion

The assembly was a well-organized and inspiring event, encouraging students to embrace learning, determination, and personal growth. The special session on Helen Keller was particularly impactful, emphasizing the importance of resilience and education.
